It's here, it's here, it's here! (Can you picture me jumping up and down?) This week we'll be celebrating the special connection between friendship and music as we gather in studio for our Bring a Friend Week. It is sure to be a giggling good time!Friendship is such an integral part of our social experience and development in childhood. Most of you likely remember well your childhood friends, or perhaps even still share a unique bond with them. And unlike any other program out there, Kindermusik gives your child the tools to become the best friend he can be. By introducing regular opportunitites in class to practice sharing, turn-taking, communication, listening, self-expression, empathy, and compassion, your child is learning how to negotiate healthy relationships with others.
And just because our play changes doesn't mean our need for community and friendship ceases to exist as we age into adulthood. Consider inviting one of your friends to class this week, even if your children aren't the same age. (Guests are invited to attend ANY of our classes this week. Just let me know ahead of time!) What better gift could you give your own friend this year than an introduction to Kindermusik, the original music and movement curricula leader that will put real tools in her hands designed to make parenting easier.
